I put some some makeup over it and changed my hairstyle to cover it, but I’m wondering how long it’ll take to grow back naturally!!

but my roots grow in dark, then they turn into that color all over.
(my eyebrows are dark naturally)
I found a hair dye that matches perfectly to my hair color and I used to use it every once in awhile because i hate when my roots are dark and the rest is natural. lol i don’t wanna wait for it to change..

so here is my hair now:

I have a hair appt tomorrow, but should i have her dye it all one color (the color of the first pic or lighter)
or should i keep my hair how it is, but just get highlights of my natural color?
